0If you grab the roc's feather, you can jump and then throw a Link into the loading zone triggering the cutscene. That way, the fairy cannot talk to you.
The skip itself saves about 4,4 seconds, and grabbing the feather takes about 1,9 ,but doing the skipt takes a few seconds too, so it's probaly about even.
Still, the fight gets easier in my opinion. So thats one positive thing.
Fun fact: While the screen fades to black, you have a frame(or a few?) for inputs, I mashed start and called the menu.
