In this segment, I get the remaining items from the Dark Palace.

Bombs kill the bouncy shelled things with no risk attached.

The mini-Helmasaur in the room with the falling tiles is a bit of a pain if you want to hit him with the pots like this, as you have to be pretty quick. In hindsight, maybe it would have been easier to use the Pegasus Boots?

I just use Ether in the dark room because I'm not a fan of these areas. I then proceed to derp up bombing the wall somehow.

Now I get the Hammer, and this is the item which makes Ether ridiculously abusable. You can whack frozen enemies with the Hammer, and they will be very likely to drop MP refills. What this means is that you pretty much have a self-sustaining screen nuke. You'll notice that I actually tend to use Ether less after this point to avoid being too boring. As for actually attacking with the Hammer, its range is somewhat too short for my liking, especially when I can't slip up at all. It's definitely powerful though.

Oh-my-gosh, oh-my-gosh, what's in the chest? A single arrow. Yippee. For this room it may have been slightly helpful to know that those pink MP thieves die to magic powder.

I messed up and started walking to the boss (that's for next segment) at the end, so after I unlock the door the rest becomes pointless.
