I finish the Dark Palace in this segment.

I use Ether in the turtle filled room to take out the majority of the turtles and show off Ether's magic restoring capabilities.

The Helmasaur's first phase is quite straightforward. I just have to be a little wary of his movements and avoid missing him with the hammer when he isn't moving. The only danger here is that he might walk downwards into you if you aren't careful. Before his mask comes off, he moves pretty slowly and he won't breathe fire and swing his tail at the same time.

When his mask comes off, it gets dangerous, as he will start using both attacks at once, which can lead to some nasty dodging and luck reliance depending on where he goes. I find it better to take a risk here and finish him quickly rather than playing it "safe" and then getting cornered. If you go right next to him right as he swings his tail, you can easily kill him outright with arrows, so this is usually how it plays out. It can be dangerous though, since he moves fast now and might trample you. I almost get hit here due to a mediocre pattern, but I had plenty of room to maneuver. Despite being one of the more complicated boss fights in the game, it's over in 35 seconds.
