When did video games stop being about having fun and talking about Jontron's love for Banjo Kazooie and start being about how there's apparently a Homosexual Agenda against African-Austrians going on in the button industry?

I'm not going to link you to some debunking or whatever video. Google it, if it really matters that much. Otherwise, there's plenty of room in my fallout shelter of neutrality, middlegrounds and indifference. We can talk about cards and maybe play some tennis while we wait.

At best, I'm just sad that it's come to this. I loved the industry until this popped up and EVERYONE got tainted by mere proxy. Good job for ruining your rep, lets hope it fixes itself.
Odds are, it will, eventually. Time heals many wounds, even nuclear weapons cannot overcome that power.

My biggest problem is that they're using the tactic they they condemn EA and Ubisoft for using: not saying anything at all.
With the Escapist passive-aggressively defending her.

When I say leave, I mean that the topic of controversy takes back stage. Stops being visible and present and instead lets the dust settle so that diplomatic, intelligent and friendly solutions can be applied.
Being controversial means you incite WAR, not peace, and at best, push the solution BACK. Right now, her presence is just making it worse. She can come back, but only once the adults are done talking and everything's fine.

I don't care about what it's about, but Zoe needs to LEAVE. She's tainted with controversy goo, and whenever she's brought up it's bad vibes for everyone. And not the MLK vibes, but the vibes you get from a dead corpse patting your shoulder with her cold, lifeless hand.

Normally I stay out of shit like this, but this popped up on a Game Grumps video, so it shows how the entire fanbase is on the verge of... something?
Collapse, implosion, doesn't matter. Like an atom bomb ,there is one certainty: lots of damage and fallout and nobody's happy by the end of it.
