While Tesla’s claimed sub-9 second quarter-mile time is mind-bending, don’t let that fool you into thinking the tri-motor Lucid Air is somehow ‘slow’. A 9.245-second quarter-mile time would make it the quickest production car ever if it were to be launched today, eclipsing the vast majority of supercars by at least 1 second.
