Gameplay from Lucid Trips, a virtual reality game where you traverse planetary dream worlds with the HTC Vive.

Lucid Trips is a $7.99 VR game where you use the HTC Vive motion controllers to control the arms of a bodiless avatar and move by pulling or pushing against the ground the propel yourself around the world. Pound the ground with lots of force and send yourself flying and then use thrusters and gliding to reach hard places and discover or place gems for other players to find. Lucid Trips currently only supports the HTC Vive, but Oculus Touch support is coming.

Official game description of Lucid Trips on Steam:
"ABOUT THIS GAME

Doing a nosedive and being whipped from the harsh wind streaming over your body while you dash down a colourful canyon can be quite mindblowing.

Lucid Trips is a VR experience which takes places in planetary dream worlds. You explore an artistically designed surrounding with a completely new concept, defining and navigating your avatar in a distinctive way, using hand motion controllers. You float and fly as a bodyless consciousness with two ghost-like arms.
As Lucid Trips requires rather advanced handling of controls in VR we recommend a playtime of 15 minutes for beginners.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning:
1.) Lucid Trips is based on an experimental locomotion concept which can cause discomfort for some people. There is a comfort level which you can turn up and down by clicking right and left on the touchpad. 7 is maximum comfort with max particles in your view and vignette reaction. If you use Rift please steer to either site and press the thumb button to change the comfort level.

2.) Since this is a 'sitting experience' Steam VR will fade out the Chaperone automatically after some seconds. Please be aware of this when playing standing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lucid Trips makes you go on a journey through a magical wonderland. The completely interactive environment, in which you can move around with our unique locomotion method, invites to get lost and explore. Doing sharp moves and hitting the safe shore in the last moment with your fingertips makes your heart beat faster and lets you experience unknown freedom.
Other players can stoke your curiosity with leaving traces, wherever they went, all around the planet, while they’re creating challenges for other players. You can go on a Journey to follow those traces, another visitor left for you, while he hid pulsating crystals in most remote places.
As part of our experience you get to explore one art piece from a selected artist working with three dimensions on the planet.

After release we are planning on having DLCs with new planets - they could be up to 3,99$ but also be free. A lot of the next steps depend on the feedback of the community - we are very much looking forward to getting more input on what people like to do in Lucid Trips.
