Lula celebrates Brazil being removed from the hunger map in a commercial on Globo

🏢 Government Power | The government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers' Party) celebrated Brazil's removal from the Hunger Map with an advertisement aired during a break at the beginning of "Jornal Nacional," a primetime program on TV Globo, on Monday night (July 28, 2025). Other government officials also celebrated the news on social media.
As announced by the FAO/UN (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) on Monday (July 28), less than 2.5% of the Brazilian population is at risk of malnutrition, a percentage considered below the threshold for inclusion on the map.
