Lula plants a cashew tree in Alvorada

🏢 Government Power | On the eve of September 7th, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers' Party) shared a video this Saturday (September 6, 2025) in which he plants a cashew tree in the garden of the Alvorada Palace in Brasília. In the video, the president states that the fruit yields "a wonderful nut and an even more wonderful fruit."
In the video, the Workers' Party member appears alongside First Lady Janja Lula da Silva and the president of Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation), Silvia Massruhá. Janja appears wearing an Embrapa hat and a shirt with Lula's face on it. In a relaxed tone, she states that "this is the true sovereign cashew."
