Lula says he has done more work than Dom Pedro II in Acre

🏢 Government Power | President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers' Party) stated this Friday (August 8, 2025), in Rio Branco, that he and former President Dilma Rousseff (Workers' Party) have completed more projects in Acre than all the presidents of the Republic since 1988 and "even more than Dom Pedro II."
The Workers' Party member said he doubts that "the last 10" Brazilian heads of government have accomplished "10% of the things" he has in the state. "Dilma and I have done more than [José] Sarney, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Itamar [Franco], [Fernando] Collor, [Jair] Bolsonaro, and even more than Dom Pedro II. We only haven't done more than Plácido de Castro, who had the courage to fight for and create the State of Acre," he declared.
