Two years have passed since George Floyd was killed by four on-duty police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I continue to condemn Derek Chauvin's senseless act of unprovoked murder on a civillian.
The event sparked massive outrage on both sides of the political spectrum, with protests, cancel culture, and social justice dominating the month of June 2020. Many things were changed because they were deemed controversial, and it caused irreversible damage to Western civilization.
Fast forward almost two years, and I was reminded of this event while watching a VTuber's stream of Lost Judgement. The chat said that "The filming of Ehara's arrest is similar to real life!", and I started thinking whether social media videos of Floyd's death caused such massive destruction on a scale never seen before.
P.S. It's been two decades since all the souls on board China Airlines Flight 611 perished. May they rest in peace.
