M.2 vs SSD vs SSHD vs HDD Game Loading Times. Welcome back guys, I thought it might be a good time to do an update to my M.2 vs SSD game loading times comparison video that was published last year. For this one I've decided to add in a SSHD drive and a HDD to the mix to help you get a better understanding of how fast these drives can load some of today's most popular games.

One of the most common question I get from viewers is "is NVME for gaming worth it" and as you can see from the M.2 vs SSD section of the video, it really isn't worth the money for a few seconds less in loading times. That being said, an M.2 NVME drive will speed up production workflow and window boot times but for gaming there's no justifiable difference.
