One problem in Mabinogi is that the Brightness Setting only works in Full Screen mode. Going into Windowed or Borderless Full Screen will use some kind of default brightness setting. Another thing to note is that if you use OBS to record changing the Brightness Setting in Full Screen mode, it won't be able to record it even if you can see it working in real time. Maybe this has something to do with the problem. This is why I had to use a real phone camera to record the problem because OBS wasn't able to capture what's actually going on in the desktop. Hopefully this gets fixed in the near future and we'd be able to change the brightness setting and make it work for Windowed mode and Borderless Full Screen mode.
