Steps:

- Start by clicking the ‘Apple logo’ in the top left corner.

- Choose ‘system preferences’ from the menu that appears.

- In system preferences, choose ‘battery’.

- From the left menu in battery settings, select ‘battery again’.

- The first option here is called ‘turn off display after’. Drag the slider to change how long the screen stays active for when running on the battery.

- Now, select ‘power adapter’ from the left. Drag the slider to change the timeout time for when connected to power.

- That is how you can adjust when your Mac Displays turns off.
