There's many ways that a Macbook can die, from liquid damage to being thrown out the window at highway speeds; but now and then you see a beautiful bit of work that you can't help but admire, though only after you've fixed the fault.

Today we have a Macbook A1706 that has come in with a "No power" fault, though the USB-C meter readings show 5V @ 40mA constant.

This one had a couple of false faults that can easily catch new technicians out.
