Bios:
Luca Prestini is the ML Data Specialist at Foundry, working closely with the Machine Learning teams to help develop tools and create new workflows for VFX. With a BA in 3D Design and Animation, Luca started his career as a freelance VFX artist working on Film and TV series. At the end of the project, he briefly joined the team at the University of Greenwich to teach Nuke and VFX before joining Foundry in 2019.

Johanna Barbier is a Senior Research Engineer in Machine Learning at Foundry where she develops AI tools for visual effects workflows. Since joining Foundry in 2019, Johanna has participated in the creation of many released ML tools, including Nuke CopyCat, the Cattery and the MLClientServer. She graduated in 2018 with an MSc in Computer Graphics & Machine Learning from Trinity College Dublin, as well as an MSc in Virtual Reality from Ecole Centrales de Nantes.

Mairéad Grogan is a Senior Research Engineer at Foundry working as part of the AI Research Team. She received an MSc and PhD in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin in 2012 and 2016, with her PhD dedicated to 3D shape and image processing. She was a postdoctoral researcher in the V-SENSE group for three years, working in areas including light fields, colour processing and image compositing. In 2019, she joined the Research team at Foundry, specialising in machine learning algorithms for 3D scene reconstruction and image processing tasks.
