Macro Overwatch Ep. 2: Basics of Brawl/Rush
41Overwatch league metas change all the time but overwatch comps fall into 3 categories, spam, brawl and dive. This video is a quick introduction to the Brawl composition. This is also called rush or deathball comp depending on who's talking about it. This video should teach you how to play aggressive in overwatch which a rush composition, which heroes are considered brawly heroes and what areas of the map rush compositions like to play.
This is the second episode in a series about macro overwatch concepts where we look at overwatch compositions, overwatch tactics and fundamental ideas relating to overwatch team play. We will look at concepts from the ground up, assuming only basic overwatch knowledge, episode 3 will discuss the basics of a spam (sometimes called poke) composition.
Since Overwatch 2 has just been confirmed to only have 5 heroes on each team I should probably mention that when this game comes out it will change how aggressive you can be without and off-tank but overwatch 2 rush should still follow the same principles as in this video.
