Talk to Chum in the hideout to start the next mission. Help Gather the five scrap parts to help Chum build the harpoon. Then, run to Chum’s bunk to grab the jag tip. Now that you have the parts, talk to Chum and you’ll be redirected to the Garage in the pause menu. Build the base harpoon and tussle bar ramming grill. Next up for the Magnum Opus is nitrous.
Exit the hideout and take out three scarecrows by ramming them or using the harpoon. After they’re destroyed be sure to pick up the scrap from the debris. Once done, head back to the lookout point to scout out the camp with the binoculars. Jump back into the Magnum Opus and begin your assault on the camp. Take out the sniper and the flame pipe with the harpoon, then ram to gate to gain entry.
Once inside, take out the War Crier immediately. If you don’t, his allies will attack more fiercely once the War Crier finishes his song. Clear the area and grab the scrap (1/10) hiding in the shipping container, the historic relic, and the scrap (2/10) under the dismantled car. Break down the door and take on the next group of enemies. Be careful for the War Boy’s shiv. After the enemies are down, grab the scrap (3/10) by the ledge and climb up to the next level. The storm will slow down Max, but it won’t do any harm. Destroy the Scrotus Insignia (1/3), head around the corner to fill up Max’s canteen, then grab the scrap (4/10) hanging on the wall.
Run across the bridge and head up the ladder first. Exit the room to collect some shotgun ammo and scrap (5/10). Head back down the ladder, and down the the other ladder to descend to a new floor. Walk through the hallway and go down yet another ladder. Collect the scrap (6/10) and head down the path that’s on the left of the chair. Go into the hole and use your shotgun to destroy a Scrotus Insignia (2/3) and gather the scrap (7/10). Go back from where you came and head up the ladder down the new path. Max will run into the weird man again, then will be allowed to follow the path again after a brief cutscene.
Before you’re allowed to destroy the oil pump, destroy some basic War Boys with your superior brawling skills. Once they’re all down, run behind the pump to get scrap (8/10), destroy the Scrotus Insignia (3/3) that’s to the right of the pump, climb up the ladder to the right of the insignia spot to get some scrap (9/10), then jump into the shack to the left of where you came entered and grab the final scrap (10/10). Now, destroy the oil pump with a gas can and get back to the Magnum Opus.
Follow the marker to meet up with the mysterious wastelander, Griffa. Here you’ll get to sue your first few Griffa tokens to upgrade various skills for Max. Leave the area and use the flare gun to call Chum. Get back in your car and then install the dual nitro boost in the garage menu. Test out the nitro boost on some ramps, then use it to defeat two easy spotters.
