Madden 12 | Bourbon City Coopers Franchise. This is an cupcake expansion franchise in the NFL based out of Louisville Kentucky right alongside the Ohio River. This expansion build will be a tough one as the following rules below are in effect for building the team from scratch. The team was initially created using the Madden 12 cupcake and then other items changed. The following rule set was adapted from MrHurricane's LP of Madden 12 from years ago. Special thanks for that. --Madden 2012 Cupcake Franchise Rules--

Teams must be custom made with a cupcake roster template.
In Franchise mode, release your starting QB, who is essentially a good 1st round rookie QB
No trading allowed (For team progression balance)
FA Rules In Year 1, no signings are allowed except for injury replacements. These replacements must be the lowest rated players at their position.


Following the first year, new players may be signed from Free Agency, with restrictions.

Once one of the below goal tiers has been reached, it is unlocked forever.
0 wins - No signings
1-4 wins - 0-69 overall (roster fillers)
5-7 wins - 70-75 overall (backup caliber players)
8-9 wins – 76-80 overall (potential starters)
10+ wins or Playoff Berth - No Restrictions

Contract Rules

For a greater challenge, long term contracts cannot be offered to low rated players you plan to develop. Long term contracts are reserved for higher rated players.
FA Under 80 overall: 3 years or less
FA 80 overall or higher: No limit
Drafted rookies: 3 years or less

It was released on August 30, 2011 in North America and Asia, September 1, 2011 in Australia, and September 2, 2011 in Europe. It was available on August 27, 2011 to EA Sports Season Ticket subscribers for a three-day trial. It was the final Madden NFL game to be released on the PlayStation Portable, and the latest Madden NFL series for PlayStation 2.
