Lines of texts driven by Newton 4
Did you know you can use masks to animate text layers in After Effects? This technique makes text follow the dynamic movement of the mask.
In this setup, each line of text has its own mask driven by Newton 4, using the handy PrepareSoftBody script included with Newton 4. We've utilized the new Weld Joints in Newton to connect all the solid objects.
Here's the beauty of this approach:
Speed: Since we only send the hundreds of solids to Newton for simulation, not the actual text, the process is incredibly fast.
Flexibility: Even after the animation is complete, you can still edit the text!
