By popular demand, here's a brief breakdown of how to make last week's post.
Create a few (um...400) circles.
Assemble them with Weld joints and animate the tension value.
Based on this animation, use ConnectlayersPRO (or similar) to create an animated mask path.
Link the mask to the text (see our other tutorials).
Duplicate this comp and choose a frame to freeze your text, create shape layers from the text at this point.
Use Newton to separate all the letters.
Desynchronize all the letters so that they disappear at random.
Animate them with Newton.
And put together these 2 animations your way!
