Some video from the beta of our next game, expected to be out in March! Mage Dungeon is the working title, it's a follow-up to our game Mage Gauntlet, but now with multiple different characters you can choose from and set in random levels. We plan on releasing a new video every week or two, so you can follow our progress as we add new things.

Right now you're mostly looking at the random level generator at work. Every level is different, and gets populated with enemies. We're still mostly using Mage Gauntlet enemies, but you can see some of the new enemies in this video. Next week, we're going to switch over to the newer enemies, with Mage Gauntlet enemies becoming rarer.

The current class is a mishmash of a Lexi from Mage Gauntlet with various elements of characters we're going to be fleshing out more this week. She's using a big 2-handed weapon like the Warrior does, a weak Mage spell, and the Spellsword dash and magic system. Another big thing this week is focusing on the different characters for awhile, to get those in a shape where we'd want to show them off.

Also of note: No more buttons. We're going to be trying a new system with this game, where they're replaced by left/right swipes. Which means you can use two abilities, attacks, and special attacks, all without having to worry about where your right thumb is.
