Esports is a growing part of college campuses every year. What does it mean to create and sustain an esports team within an academic institution? In this conversation, Grand Canyon University Esports Director, Jay DeShong, and University of Maryland, College Park Director of Esports, Sergio Brack will discuss their journey into esports as well as share key strategies to maintain and grow a collegiate esports community. This panel will be moderated by doctoral student and videogame researcher, Javon Goard.
