The History:
Magic: the Gathering Arcade is a Co-op for 2-3 players that replicates the arcade game experience of a self-sustaining game that runs by itself.
This format was created in 2012 by Chris Bores and Tim Warner. It is loosely based off the “Horde Magic” format created by Peter Knudson which we found to be riddled with many mechanical problems that broke the game. We altered many variables to create a brand new game we dubbed “Arcade” with an enemy deck that is now self-sustaining.
The Story:
An evil horde has shown up in Dominaria destroying everything in their path. They are now heading straight for the kingdom. You have been summoned by the King to stop the horde before it reaches the gates. You and your friends are the last hope!
