My 3rd nizakashii shmup clear!
It was quite a struggle, so I had to carefully manage my resources!

Magic Vigilante 魔導自警隊 is a shmup by nizakashii in 2023.
Like in Tukiyono, you can set the amount of starting lives. In this game you can change the starting lives from 1 to 9.
The game uses the similar Tukiyono slow-motion mechanic with the Special. However, the Special in this game is a bullet converter field, in which when it captures bullets, it will convert them into daggers that can be fired back at enemies for diamond gems. The daggers can be aimed as well.
Keep in mind that during mid-bosses and bosses, the bullet converter field will take more time in capturing the bullets.
Damaging a mid-boss and boss with the daggers can spawn square gems, which have less value than diamond gems. If you finish off a boss phase with the daggers while bullets are onscreen, they'll convert to square gems.
The 1st score extend threshold is 1250 gems, then, every 2500 gems collected will grand an extend.
Killing enemies without using the Special will give bullet converter recharge orbs. They`re also obtained from damaging mid-bosses and bosses.
There`s an optional EX stage and EX Boss that can be accessed by simply pressing down when giving the choice of beginning Stage 4. The EX boss itself is a tribute to Tukiyono, as well one of it`s BGMs.

In this run, I perfomed some highly advanced bullet converter maneuvers, in which I carefully dive into loads of bullets to counterattack the enemies and get lots of yellow gems and gray gems.
Despite some uncomftable mess ups, I still managed to perform my bullet converting skills properly to recover lives and get more diamond gems and more square gems.
In the phase 7 of Mukorossi, I performed an extreme bullet converting exploit that spawned chunkloads of square gems that made it seem that the game was gonna crash (I dunno why it happened to me), and it almost discouraged me. But thank goodness the game regained consciousness from the exploit. This exploit resulted in a really high scoring gain from the square gems.
