Medium Armor has superior offensive stats when penetration and mitigation are not an issue (i.e. on the dummy), but that's not always the case in content. Of course everyone wants to max out their numbers when dummy humping, but several people have asked me how much DPS we lose by continuing to use 6 x Light Armor, which prompted this video. The answer is: not much.

Of course, this is just a static rotation and there's probably another 5k DPS at least you could squeeze out with perfect dynamic recasts and perfectly managing your Magicka for the Bahsei bonus (mine is too high for the first half of the fight). Using Hurricane instead of Boundless Storm would probably help, but I forgot to test it with this rotation (oops).

STATIC ROTATION:

Prebuff with Tormentor, Familiar, Atronach and Trap (skip Trap in the opening rotation).

Daedric Prey - - Stampede - - Trap - - Storm/Hurricane - - Frags - - Familiar
Daedric Prey - - 5 x Frags
Daedric Prey - - Frags - - Familiar - - 3 x Frags

I went a little more dynamic with Stampede, recasting it every 15s along with Trap (bar swapping immediately after Stampede is a pain) and skipping Storm every other time around, since it lasts 30 seconds. If you're using Hurricane the 18s static rotation above fits a bit better.

I cast the Tormentor now and then when there was no Frags proc or when I needed to swap to the back bar (swapping right after Frags is also awkward) but it's not necessary. Definitely don't recast the Tormentor below 55%.

EXECUTE

Pretty simple. I stopped recasting Prey and Familiar, but kept up Stampede and Trap (recast Storm/Hurricane too if it's going to last half its duration or more). However, if you cast the Atronach in execute when keeping up Prey and Familiar become more worthwhile.

Other than that, spam Mages' Wrath and if Frags procs, try to cast it immediately.

As always, static rotations are just a baseline. Great for practice, nice to fall back on and they can get your crazy numbers in content if you are disciplined. But once you're comfortable you should ideally keep pushing for more DPS and maximising your value to the group. That generally means more dynamic rotations and optimising for different fights.
