MAGNETO ITEM BUILD - HOW TO TRIGGER ENERGY LEECH FROM BASIC ATTACK
MAGNETO SKILL GUIDE: https://youtu.be/pPjGqL1SU4w
Hey guys what's up! So we're here to check the build for Magneto.
We did a skill guide on him from our previous video
so if you've missed that you can go check it out on the link below.
The items would make more sense if you know how his skills works.
Anyway let's get straight to it.
These are the 3 core items for Magneto
First one is the Arc Reactor
It provides energy attack, 100% EP regen, and 15% cool down reduction.
Also the passive of the items let's you have an additional 10% Cool down reduction on your ultimate, if you get an assist or a kill.
As you've learned from our previous video, Magneto relies heavily on his ultimate in order to finish opponents.
And he's pretty much in super saiyan mode when his ultimate is on, so having those cool down reductions really helps, since the CD of his ultimate can be pretty long without the items.
Also, there's a huge chance of getting an assist or killing your opponent once you've used your ultimate properly, so most of the time, you'll trigger the passive of the item through your ultimate. Or you can trigger it just by getting assist or a kill through your other skills or basic attack.
Next one is the Antimatter Cannon
It provides Emery attack, HP, and a 10% cool down reduction
The passive of the item gives you a 25% Energy Leach, or life steal.
The cool down reduction is a great bonus since like we said before, we really need cool down reductions for his ultimate.
But what we're really after on this item is the life steal. 25% of damage from your skills goes to your HP. Again guys, just skills, not basic attacks.
With this item you can regain tons of HP when you activate your ultimate during a team clash, enabling you to survive better when you go wild with your Magnetic storm.
Also, since you have to set up your spheres first, you can't always use your ultimate right from the get go of a clash, there are instances that you'll activate it just when your about to die.
Even with your ultimate activated, it's still dangerous to dive in behind enemy lines with a low hp, but with this item you can lessen the chances of dying, not to mention you'll have enough HP from your life steal to continue fighting.
Aaaand there's more! There's actually another awesome thing on why this item works great with Magneto. Remember those basic attacks that we've mentioned on our previous video? The ones where you trigger your passive skill?
Well, those are actually considered a skill which is weird, but as you can see in the video, you get more life steal from your passive triggered basic attacks, than your first, 2nd or third skill. Well, except your ultimate, since your ultimate is OP.
So there you go, with this item, you can have tons of life steal.
not only is it ideal for the mechanics of your ultimate, but for your triggered basic attacks as well. To be honest I was amazed that you could still life steal from those special basic attacks.
Anyway, third item is, Virus Cannon
plus energy attack,HP, movement speed, and again that yummy cooldown reduction, that's 5%
But what we came here for is the passive of the item
The item adds additional damage to any of your basic attacks right after using a skill.
Which is perfect for Magneto, since that's pretty much how he works, use a skill then basic attack.
So there you have it guys, those are the 3 core items for Magneto, the other items you can use on him is pretty debatable and would really depend on your gameplay or your opponents.
One thing though, I would definitely add a pure damage item in there just to really increase my damage. Either Wand of Watoomb or Loki's Scepter
