Hi Friends Welcome to Viktors Reality:
Today I show you what I use to make my gaming headsets in my opinion 10X more Comfortable. Its a very simple fix/Mod, all you need is a replacement headphone cushion pad for the top headband of any headset you own. I put these on all my headphones and even some VR units to make listening and gaming much more comfortable. They make so many kinds Leather, Pleather, Fabric, Foam etc... your options are endless. Try it I am sure you will love them.
Some Cushions have Built In Sticky Tape
There are two ways of doing this.
1# Double sided Tape: This way is permanent so do this only if you dont sweat much on top and want a sturdier hold. Be advised!! This is Permanent.
2# Velcro: The easiest way to change the headband cushions whenever you need change. Any brand will do I used Industrial thin profile velcro as I wanted a firm hold.
*Apply the sticky part to the Top of the Headband and the other part to the cudhion of your choice. MEASURE FIRST! Wait 10mins for it to fully adhere then connect. (While you wait during the 10mins, just soften the cushion with your fingers to loosen up the foam)
The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless Gaming Headset is one of the most lightest headphones I have used. But add these top cushions and it almost feels like you have nothing on top of your head or like you are laying on an actual Cloud!
The HyperX Cloud Alpha S Gaming Headphones are top notch in comfort. But these Top Cushion pads make these awesome earpads much more comfortable. Now it actually feels like a CLOUD!! WOW!
