Here's a glimpse of upcoming content for this channel. I recently picked up the Gekko HDMI box for the Sega Dreamcast. For those of you who don't know, the Sega Dreamcast natively supported 480p video output and the vast majority of the console's library supported it which is amazing when you take into account that the system came out in 1998/1999. It wasn't until the Xbox did progressive scan become more of a standard. All you needed was a VGA box. Since VGA is pretty much a dead connection in 2018, this box converts the VGA signal into HDMI wihout needing any extra adapters. And my Razer Ripsaw accepts 480p input signal.

So yea, this is an authentic copy being played on original hardware. No emulation here.

I think the last time I played Maken X was maybe in 2005. Going back to playing first person shooters on the Dreamcast is pretty hard since it has only 1 analog stick but it plays okay and the 480p video output looks great.
