This is how I made a main menu and settings menu in a tank combat game made in Game Maker. I've now decided to name the game Rogue Tanks. You should see soon why that name fits. This tutorial goes more in depth on the code and explains one way how to get cursor scrolling by holding down a direction on the menu. This will be an indie game as I will be finishing this project entirely by myself.
