Making an Enemy | Broken Sword 2.5, Part 4
After making a weird (but arguably fair) trade, further investigation makes some people a bit unhappy with George.

Several years pass between the events of Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror and Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon. In an effort to bridge some of the storyline gap, this fan-made tribute game to the Broken Sword franchise was made. It was released on September 28, 2008, through Mindfactory. Although not made by Revolution Software, it is considered by many to be cannon.
The typical style of puzzles and adventure from the first two games continues with point-and-click interfacing identical to that from The Smoking Mirror. Your mouse hovers over objects with which you can interact, which then can be clicked for additional clues and progress in the game. When these do not progress you, George or another character will often have some reply, notifying you.
Some time after George Stobbart returns to the United States, he receives an unsigned telegram, informing him Nico Collard, his one-time love and close friend, has perished. No further details are given. Stricken with concern, he hops the next flight to Paris, intending to go to her apartment . . . to investigate? to say goodbye? He really isn't sure, but he goes anyway. What has happened to prompt such a telegram? Let's play Broken Sword 2.5: The Return of the Templars and see.
