I quickly made this video after my own shocking discovery that greenish purple turns into pink with lemons.

The recipe is as follows:

steep 2 tbsp of lavender in 2 cups of boiling water for 30-60 seconds. the longer it steeps the stronger the lavender flavor but the more bitter it may become.

pour the boiling mixture through a strainer or cheesecloth to get the pieces of lavender out of the water. MAKE SURE TO POUR THE LIQUID INTO A HEAT SAFE CONTAINER. You also will want to ensure the surface you place it on does not melt or have a surface finish which may melt/deform. (I'm not responsible for regular mistakes like this)

squeeze two lemons as the lavender water cools.

you can also measure the lemon juice before pouring if you want a specific tartness to your lemonade. 2 lemons is normally about 1/2 a cup of juice. so if you want a more tart lemonade you would do 1:1 with sugar. so 1/2 a cup of sugar. if you want it to taste very sweet, like you'd buy at a fairground. I would double it to 1 cup of sugar to 1/2 cup of lemon juice.

since we're adding the lavender water, its a good idea to pour ice into a 4Qt pitcher (regular sized pitcher). maybe 2 cups worth. pour the lavender water ontop to ensure it's cold. then pour in the lemon juice. 1/2 cup of sugar. taste. and add sugar to your liking!

Thank you all so much for watching/reading (:
