Making My Dream Game in 10 Weeks [UE4]
39My 10 week experience making a Multiplayer Action Adventure Platformer game in Unreal Engine 4. I've been developing almost three years and have had this idea in my mind for over a year. It started with pictures in books and collecting images online and notes in my phone for months before I felt like I knew enough to be able to do it. In this video I build things like inventory systems, grapple lines, fast movement mechanics, gliding, crafting systems, reproducing AI, farming, building, AI Perception and Behavior Trees, and more. This game is inspired by my favourites including The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild, Minecraft, RuneScape, Celeste, and NieR Automata. Since it's completion I've gone on to use the same engine to build Trial of the Bush Doctor and Bleep Bloop Bleep.

I'm an Australian solo developer who loves making mysterious adventure games. I try to keep it real, have fun, and do my best to teach you the art of game development as a whole rather than just technical information.
