When I first got to the Terraria 1.2, I was very impressed with new contents and countless new items. It was my first major update that I have gotten, and my impression with it was actually bigger than when Terraria 1.4 came out eventually. The game added so many items, like Gem Staves, and... a Large Gem. What is it? I didn't know, I thought it was something very cool that is used to craft another cool thing, but... on that day, my disappointment became immeasurable, and my day was ruined. This should not happen any longer. This Terraria mod actually make the large gems, useful, somehow...
