After a small handful of fixes to the video chip (MCD-212 'VDSC') emulation in MAME's Philips CD-i driver, The Apprentice no longer has flashing corruption at the bottom of the screen.

There are still audio issues remaining - primarily, the game being silent until going in-game - but the visuals are at least on-target.
