Having spent a ton of time updating MAME's emulation of the CDIC - the chipset that controls both audio playback and CD reading - various games are working better than before.

Hotel Mario works about as well as it did before, but there was a fun little discovery: Apparently, the game detects when it's Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, and adjusts its loading-screen messages!
