Did you know that MAME emulates non-video electronic chess computers, complete with simulation of the physical board? Here's a demonstration of the Mini Sensory Chess Challenger (1982 version) from Fidelity Electronics that was added earlier in the year by hap, Berger & Achim. Using them can be a bit fiddly at times as some level of knowledge of how the original devices worked is handy to understand the nuances of each one but many, many such devices are fully playable in MAME, and outside of the distributed packages people have even created lua scripts to allow machines to play against one another. For several machines, including this one, expansion module cartridges have also been dumped and are part of the Software Lists.
