Man killed by vehicles on the Siglo XXI Highway in the Pátzcuaro region
The incident occurred on the Pátzcuaro-Uruapan section, near Potrero del Agua 2.
The man was a resident of the municipality of Tzitzio.

Pátzcuaro, Mich. - August 21, 2025 - A man was killed by several vehicles around 6:00 a.m. this Wednesday on the Siglo XXI Highway, on the Pátzcuaro-Uruapan section, police authorities reported.
According to sources close to the matter, the man was Ramiro Z., approximately 33 years old, residing in the community of Tafetán, municipality of Tzitzio, whose body was destroyed by the asphalt.
The unfortunate incident occurred at kilometer 54, near the Potrero del Agua 2 neighborhood. Several motorists reported the situation to the 911 emergency number.
Later, patrol cars arrived, confirmed the situation, cordoned off the area, and notified the State Attorney General's Office (FGE). Specialists from the Immediate Attention Unit then conducted the respective investigations and transported the remains to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) facilities in Pátzcuaro.
