Mangala Deal is Now a Loan! Goalkeeper Links Galore! Aurier Leaves! Nottingham Forest Transfer News
530Orel Mangala will be leaving Nottingham Forest this January transfer window, but it wont be on a permanent deal as many expected. It turns out that Lyon and Nottingham Forest have agreed a loan only deal worth around £8 million, with an option to buy in the summer.
So Mangala could still return to the City Ground in the summer and Forest would pocket a massive loan fee, so is this a good deal for Forest? Well alot will depend on where Lyon finish in the Ligue 1 table in France, as if they are relegated then it would be very likely Mangala would return to Forest.
It's the last day of the transfer window and Forest are desperate to sign a new goalkeeper, as Matt Turner continues to under perform. Forest have been linked with four different keepers today and the front runner is Matz Sels from Strasbourg, the 31 year old is an experience stopper and would cost the club around £7 million.
