Manipulating Events - Hyrule Total War: Classic Ultimate - The Sheikah - Shadow Stance Part 02
3I'm starting this new shorter campaign as the Sheikah Cadre, the pureblooded assassins of the Kingdom of Hyrule.
The Sheikah is a female organisation of assassins, but they are led by Lord Agahnim who is himself man - the Sheikah serves the Goddesses of Hyrule (the Oocca) and usually manipulate events in the Kingdom of Hyrule in favor of the Goddesses.
In this mod if you do not play as them in the "Hyrule Historia"-campaigns then they will spawn late-game. If you instead play the Freeform campaign they will spawn in the early game.
If you play as the faction they're going to spawn immediately.
The Sheikah Cadre has two unique gameplay modes that the player can chose from - the Battle Stance and the Shadow Stance - I am going to play this faction using the later.
- Battle Stance-means that the Sheikah will do a hostile takeover of the Hylian village of Kakariko and then play the game normally where you can construct buildings and recruit troops in a similar way as other factions. They'd spawn four heroes - Lord Agahnim, Impa, Azrily and Bongo - at the start of the campaign. You then play the game as any other faction.
- Shadow Stance means that you do not ockupy Kakariko village from the Kingdom of Hyrule. Instead your heroes and armies will spawn and you can then use them to aid Hyrule in its wars. Whenever you conquer an area it will become a part of Hyrule one turn after. You cannot recruit units or construct buildings - you get additional soldiers through a script - you can still hire all mercenaries in their locations, and Sheikah mercs near Kakariko village. You play as the Shadow Ninja Organisation of Hyrule aiding Hyrule.
The Sheikah will always be able to switch between these stances. Their main enemy in the game is the Undead Stalfos - but they are also likely to betray Hyrule if using the Battle Stance - the alliance would then be restored after the seizure of Kakariko but the Gorons, Hylians or the Zora will likely invade you.
This video is a preview of the unique Shadow Stance-mode and I aim to play until I tire, it's finished or until it becomes unstable.
