DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI - Free Battles DB & Saiyan Saga Part 2 (PS2/PCSX2)
I'm letting the CPU fight the CPU in the game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi - the first game in the Tenkaichi series released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 - sadly there is a graphical glitch whenever the characters use special moves or whenever they are in Super Saiyan form - I did manage to solve this glitch in the third game using the PCSX2 Emulator for the PC but with the first game it wasn't possible.
So the first game has more stuff present on the battlefields that characters are able to destroy which is a nice touch, it also has visible blood and damage on any of the characters whenever the HP is depleted. The second game kept the damage while the third game only shows damage whenever characters are hit by ultimate moves. I do prefer the 1st and 2nd games when it comes to this particular area as I do enjoy the battles feeling more real when characters are actually hurt in the game. In the third game it almost never happens, and I also believe that not all the characters kept their damaged forms.
So I never played the first game as a teenager back in 2005.. Somehow I missed out on it back then and only played it later. Instead I started with the 2nd game in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and continued on with the third game.
The first game is lacking many gameplay modes, has almost no variation in skins, you cannot evolve into Super saiyan or other transformations during battle and instead will select the evolved form before the battle, it lacks the Tag team-mode and the DP-mode of later games - but it has the DBZ Budokai music - and unlike in the DBZ Budokai games the music now plays randomly on every stage so you won't be able to select the music in this game, but unlike in the previous games at least you can have all the songs play on every stage.
