Müller stated that since releasing Pahvo Mid-Season this year, all the development teams have been working hard to release the next version of Manjaro; He said this release includes significant improvements to Calamares, including file system selection for automatic partitioning and improved support for btrfs. Müller said that for btrfs installations, the default subvolume layout has been improved for easier undoes and less wasted space in patterns; Additionally, Müller noted that swap files on the btrfs file system are now supported; It said that the Gnome desktop environment has been updated to version 41.3. Müller said that the KDE Plasma desktop environment came with the 5.23 series;KDE Frameworks 5.90 and KDE Gear 21. He stated that you have been added to 12 systems. Müller reminded that making KDE Plasma fully functional under Wayland is a priority for the KDE Community; He said Wayland provides the ability to do much more on the desktop, providing new features such as improved performance, increased stability and new features required by touchscreen devices.
