Yup, remakes time. This had to be done eventually.
This song, this midi - was my first ever FM cover in furnace that i ever uploaded on the internet, and looking back... it sounds just downright embarrassing and sloppy by my standards (Sorry, Varis Alpha, for butchering your song in that way lol). I can't help but physically cringe at it. I'm not gonna remove it though, it will stay up for archive purposes.

Thus, as soon as the cover project began - picking this track again was a no-brainer to me. It was a sort of personal challenge to "improve" upon my old cover while working with more limitations than before (YM2612 instead of vastly superior YM2608) and make it sound better despite that.
And, not to brag, but I think it's safe to say that I succeeded.

Oh yeah also, lots of psg3/noise usage here. I found out recently that you can use all three psg channels while having the noise percussion, at the expense of said percussion only being duty 1. That means all the hats and rides and crashes are also doubled in the FM3 channel too, along with the bass. Wish I could pan them around but eh, at least they sound decent enough.
