Map Awareness Timer - Play this during a Fortnite Game! (🌩️ Storm Surge Version 🌩️)

Storm surge triggers 7 seconds after the appearance of the 3/5/7th zones. The storm surge notifications occur 10 seconds before those zones appear. Storm surge warning should have already triggered at this point, so the notification is primarily a reminder of the player thresholds.
YouTube is showing a message that this video has no sound on certain devices, but as far as I can tell, this is only a visual bug and there should still be sound in the video!
This timer is a tool for Fortnite players to help them keep track of their map position and resources. To use this properly, start the video when you enter the game (right when you leave the starting island and are on the battle bus).
The timer was designed with the intention of being usable on phones if needed, so feel free to play this on your phone if that works better for you :)
The main components of this timer are the following:
- The current storm information and progress bar are always present to show you relevant map information.
- At certain points, notifications will pop up with an alert sound to remind you to do one of three things:
- A yellow notification has a "sonar"-like sound and reminds you to check the state of the current circle on the map.
- A blue notification also has a "sonar"-like sound and reminds you to check the map for supply drops.
- A green notification has a simple chime sound and reminds you to check the state of your resources. I recommend checking:
- Your mat count
- Your rocket ammo count
- Your launch pad/mobility count
- Your guns' ammo count (and reload as needed)
