I sing, rap, and do voiceovers/podcasts, and this has helped improve the audio fidelity of my recordings all across the board. Yeah, you can find cheaper alternatives, but this is an amazing product regardless. Immediate night and day improvement in all my work, and if im being real, i just think it looks so got dang handsome, with that silver, brushed steel backing lending some very nice contrast to my primarily matte black setup. I mounted it on the same Proline desktop stand that I had been using previously, recording on a Rode NT1 condenser mic(with shock mount and pop filter) powered by a Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 interface running thru a Mogami Gold xlr cable, and with this new addition to my setup, my audio quality just went from great, to impeccable.
