I’ve spent the last six months deep into Destiny, so when Bungie announced Marathon, I really wanted to be excited for it. But the more I’ve seen, the more it feels like they’re making a game for someone else entirely. The gameplay actually looks decent after the NDA dropped, but the direction, the rollout, the feel of it all… just seems off.

This isn’t about hating the game; I just can’t figure out who it’s even meant for. Here’s where I’m at with it.
