3March Update: NES Quest Rolls On! (26/100 Games Collected!)
Heyo, my beautiful Chasers! The NES Quest keeps rolling, and we’re making some solid progress toward that 100-game goal! This time, I’m adding three new titles to the stack, bringing the total up to 26 games. Let's take a look at what just joined the collection:
New Additions to the NES Quest:
🎮 Urban Champion – A true OG of the NES library, Urban Champion is Nintendo’s attempt at a simplistic 1v1 street fighting game. It’s got that classic arcade feel—block, punch, and knock your opponent into an open manhole (or get knocked in yourself). It’s not the deepest fighter out there, but as one of the first fighting games on the NES, it’s an interesting piece of history.
🤼 Pro Wrestling – "A winner is you!" One of the NES’s early wrestling games, Pro Wrestling is full of over-the-top moves, iconic characters like Fighter Hayabusa and Starman, and that unforgettable commentary moment that became a meme before memes were a thing. It's not as complex as later wrestling titles, but it’s got that old-school charm that makes it a fun pick-up-and-play experience.
🕵️ The Mafat Conspiracy – This one is a hidden… uh, undercover agent of a game. Part of the Golgo 13 series, The Mafat Conspiracy is a spy action game mixing side-scrolling, first-person shooting, and even vehicle sections. It’s got a story full of espionage and political intrigue, plus that classic NES difficulty. This is definitely one of the more unique additions to the stack!
