MARCONI ARCADE MACHINE FLIGHT CASE (PAP-100 console gba,cps1,cps2 and neo geo) FULL HD BY MOD1T
Here's the long awaited project I promissed people,it's an old marconi engineers flight case that I had given,so I took about converting a PAP-1000 chinese console to fit in the case and adding in an lcd monitor.I've shimmed the cpu and this helped to cover over more components at the same time so that was a greatly appreciated bonus,I added the shim as there is no heatsink normaly at stock on these consoles, this improves the load times slightly and the in-game play and menu surfing greatly,I just used cardboard board to mount the bottom half of the console to a base, and use folded paper clips to clip it to the board i then slipped it in under the foam and cut some of the foam in certain places to allow the console to fit and adjust the shape of the foam cushioning,I used a av to hdmi and then attached it to a hdmi to vga to link the lcd monitor, thus giving me a cable to also plug a speaker in or connect it to an amplifier,it runs 720p 60hz ,the monitor is simply screwed into the case via it's holes for the stand which i have removed. It was absolutely simple as a design in the end but took me absolutely forever to figure out how I was going to fit it all together and make it look something like right,it's crude and this helped to cover over more components at the same time so that was a greatly appreciated bonus,I added the shim as there is no heatsink normaly at stock on these consoles, this improves the load times slightly and the in-game play and menu surfing greatly,I just used cardboard board to mount the bottom half of the console to a base, and use folded paper clips to clip it to the board i then slipped it in under the foam and cut some of the foam in certain places to allow the console to fit and adjust the shape of the foam cushioning,I used a av to hdmi and then attached it to a hdmi to vga to link the lcd monitor, thus giving me a cable to also plug a speaker in or connect it to an amplifier,it runs 720p 60hz ,the monitor is simply screwed into the case via it's holes for the stand which i have removed. It was absolutely simple as a design in the end but took me absolutely forever
