Vicious Circle trophy – Reach the “Maria” ending.
Silent Hill 2 Remake contains 8 Endings. 6 of these Endings are from the original game, and 2 are new Endings for the Remake. You will need all 6 original Endings for various trophies & achievements, but do not need the 2 new Endings.
Maria Ending is one of the three regular endings you can get on New Game, and is the hardest of the three to get. As the name implies, most of the actions that influence this are tied to Maria, and unlike the others can’t really be influenced right at the end of the game if you are trying to manipulate multiple endings. For this reason, it’s best to actively try for this ending.
