Defy Even Death trophy – Reach the “Rebirth” ending.
Silent Hill 2 Remake contains 8 Endings. 6 of these Endings are from the original game, and 2 are new Endings for the Remake. You will need all 6 original Endings for various trophies & achievements, but do not need the 2 new Endings.
Rebirth Ending is the true New Game+ ending that can only be gotten on New Game+. In order to get this ending, you must collect four items that only spawn on New Game+, then simply finish the game normally. As long as you have the four Rebirth items in your inventory, this ending will override any of the regular endings.
