A Royal Marine commando, accompanied by his ex-RAF friend, is attempting to raise money for the charity through a unique set of kayak challenges.

The duo are set to push themselves through three separate events, their Ocean Wave Challenge will first see them this weekend paddle around the Isle of Wight – about 80 Nautical miles.

At the end of August, the pair will then travel 44 nautical miles across the Irish Sea before concluding their kayak adventures with an 80 nautical mile paddle along the Dorset coast from Poole to Lympstone in Devon, where Royal Marines are trained.
